DESCRIPTION:Single Payer in the St. Pat’s Parade\, Sat. March 12 \nKentuckians for Single Payer Health Care will be in the St. Patrick’s Parade in Louisville. \nSat. March 12. \nMeet at 2:30 pm on Broadway between St. Anthony Pl. and Baxter.  \nParade steps off at 3:00 PM; ends at Bardstown Rd & Windsor Pl.  \n(We are Unit #73 and begin from the Purple Broadway Staging Area on Broadway between St. Anthony Pl. and Baxter Ave.  To find us on Saturday\, please call Harriette at 899-3861.) \nStaging Map. \nRoute of parade and Exit map. \nWe invite you to join us as we march with our banner and distribute info to the crowds.  It’s a good way to advocate for single payer. \nThe parade theme this year is “100 Years Irish Rising” which commemorates the centenary of the Easter Rising in Ireland. This event in 1916 was the moment where the Irish people declared themselves\, and Ireland\, as one true free Republic.
